Actress Paula Patton has revealed that her R&B singer husband Robin Thicke is thrilled he got her pregnant so soon after she came off the Pill.

The 34-year-old Precious star said: ‘He’s so proud of himself, it’s ridiculous.’

But Patton, who plays teacher Ms Rain in the award-winning movie, admitted that there are some pros to being an expectant mother – like being able to cut back on her gym sessions.

She said: ‘A year ago, I started doing Ashtanga yoga five or six days a week… [But] I’ve cut back during my pregnancy. I told my trainer I don’t want to see the inside of a gym.’

A press conference held at 5:30 AM L.A. time was announced by Academy president Tom Sherak and one of last year’s nominees Anne Hathaway.

Baby Boy!

Robin Thicke gave Ellen the gift of “Sex Therapy” on Friday’s episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” He also revealed that his first child with wife Paula Patton will be a boy. “I thought it would be a little more comfortable. I can teach him to play basketball and stuff like that,” he said.

Nominees for the 16th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards for outstanding performances in 2009 were announced this morning in Los Angeles at the Pacific Design Center’s Silver Screen Theater in West Hollywood. Paula Patton has received her first ever SAG nomination for Ourstanding Cast! Furthermore Gabourey Sidibe was nominated for Lead Actress and Mo’Nique for Supporting Actress. Huge congrats!

There’s a baby on the way for Robin Thicke and Paula Patton!

Patton, 33, is pregnant, according to a message posted on Facebook by Thicke’s mother, former soap opera star Gloria Loring.

“I am going to be Nana Gloria again as my son Robin Thicke & his wife Paula are expecting their first baby!,” Loring wrote.

This will be the first child for the high school sweethearts, who married in June 2005.

It’s being rumored once again that Paula Patton and husband Robin Thicke are expecting. Now we’ve tried to wait for a more reliable confirmation since there was some gossip a while back and a rumor like this which I’m sure you all remember, but so far the more ‘trusty’ resources haven’t really posted anything so take it with a grain of salt for now! However since this is being posted like wild fire we wanted to make some kind of acknowledgment of it.

US Weekly first reported the news/gossip and then Giant which Paula is currently gracing the cover of made the announcement. The actress recently told the magazine that she has stopped taking birth control. Other places like Vibe also dished news.
